A telecommunications company was encountering serious difficulties in terms of business performance following the huge downswing in business following several years’ strong growth.

The marketing function had undergone numerous chops and changes and had totally lost its sense of purpose and direction. It urgently needed positive general management and demonstrated functional expertise.

In addition the Senior Management Team was desperately seeking advice, support and direction at a time of imminent take-over.
The Marketing Matters Europe Interim Manager played a very active role in managing this transition. Although originally taken on as Marketing Director the role also demanded input from a heavy weight general manager and he had to draw from his many years of experience in general and marketing management to assist the team in driving through the necessary changes.

The assignment exceeded the initial 3 month as the nature of the challenge emerged. Now more that a year on we are still providing ongoing counselling and coaching.
